Why Travel’Art?

The answer is simple & short... the name combines two of my favorite things: traveling & art.
It all started in 2017... with mother-daughter trip to Scotland:
In the middle of nowhere, somewhere the Scottish Highlands, I witnessed a plein-air artist. ("plein-air" = the act of painting outdoors)
Focused, his wooden easel in front of him, surrounded by lush green hills & fields of pink heather on a moody autumn day.
I just wanted to be him! Sitting there and capturing nature's beauty with a brush.
I was fascinated and inspired.
Back home I decided to illustrate a private travel journal and after sharing one illustration with my family & friends, I received enough positive & encouraging feedback to continue with my art.
Travel'Art was born!
